Hallelujah!
What a glorious day!! Today we celebrate. We celebrate the culmination of the last 40 days. We celebrate that this man, the Son of God, gave His life on a cross for us. For our sins. Mine. Yours. Ours. His Father, our Father, sacrificed His Son so that all His children could become sinless. Forgiven. We get a do-over. Whether we deserve it or not. And all He asks? Is for faith. For us to believe in Him, and in Christ, His Son. (John 3:16) Pretty sweet deal, eh? That's how much He loves us. Nothing can separate us from the love of God. (Romans 8:38-39).
For Christ is risen. The tomb is empty.
He is Risen.
He is Risen indeed.
